What to expect at your first appointment

Before treatment
Prior to your first appointment you will be asked to fill out an intake form. Intake forms are emailed to you prior to your appointment and can be filled out online. Alternatively, you may arrive a little earlier to your appointment and fill it out in person.

The consent form is completed in person just before your appointment starts.

We recommend arriving 5-15 mins prior to your first appointment depending on whether or not you've completed your intake form ahead of time.

Treatment
You and your massage therapist will discuss your health history and treatment goals. If required, your massage therapist will complete any assessments needed before confirming a tailored treatment plan with you. Your massage therapist will then leave the room to give you privacy while you get ready and lay on the table.

If during treatment you feel any discomfort, or would like to change the treatment in any way please let your massage therapist know.

After Treatment
Your massage therapist will exit the room to give you privacy while you dress and get of the table. Afterwards, your massage therapist will review any homecare recommendations which may include therapeutic exercises or stretches.

If you have questions at any time during your appointment please ask your massage therapist, they are very willing to answer questions.

We are a fragrance free clinic. We ask that patients refrain from wearing scented products (such as: perfumes, scented body lotions, hairspray, etc.) to their appointments.

What do I wear during a massage?

You may undress to your level of comfort. During treatment, your massage therapist will ensure you are appropriately draped, only the area being treated will be uncovered.

Undressing is not a requirement for treatment, if you’d prefer to remain dressed, wear something comfortable to your appointment.

Free 2 hour roadside parking is available along Duncan St. 
There is an elevator in the building located by the Duncan St. entrance.
